About Me

CURRENTLY TRAVELLING FROM SPAIN TO MONGOLIA WITH A CAMPERVAN:)

Hi! I'm 27 and I live in a town of the "Costa Brava" called Roses. I love to live here because it's easy to stay in touch with the nature and also we are not far from cities like Girona and Barcelona and from France. I also like a quiet life, far from the chaos and pollution that exists in big cities.

The last years I have been doing my studies in educational psychology. I have worked the last years with children and teenagers with learning difficulties (dyslexia, ADHD...). I really like my work and I know that I am fortunate to be able to enjoy what I do every day. It is my wish that children stop suffering every day because of the rigidity of our educational system that is only prepared for one type of brain.

I think that every day can offer something new and transcendental for you. Everything depends on the eyes with which you look at reality and what surrounds you. I try to connect more and more with my inner self, since I believe that most of the problems of the present world come from the lack of introspection and personal growth.

My goal in life is to work just enough to be able to live, far from materialism, superficiality and desires of any kind of appearance towards others. Every day I try to take a little more step to learn to love those around me from kindness and humility. I also try to learn every day about sustainability and how to reduce waste and be more eco-friendly. I would like to learn different forms of self-sufficiency and incorporate them little by little into my way of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I have vacations I take them to travel. I really like the contact with nature but also with people. As a psychologist, I am fascinated with human behaviour, cultural diversity and the ability to adapt to different environments and learning of the human being. For my travel is the way to know other ways of being and existing and open your mind to other possibilities. For this reason, I am in CS and I would like to have more experiences with locals.

Actually, I live in the house of my parents. It would be difficult to accept hosts because they are more traditional. However, I can accompany you to the most beautiful places where I live and help you in whatever you need.

Interests

In my free time I do classical dance and jazz, yoga, hiking, discover new music, read books and watch series and movies. I love cooking and learn new recipes from all over the world. I love board games. I also like to spend time with my loved ones and in the nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like several styles of music while it is not commercial / stupid music.

The styles I listen to the most are folk, indie, jazz and soul but lately I've been listening to the traditional music of my country like flamenco, rumba and copla.

I also listen to classics of classical music like Chopin or Tchaikowsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The travel I loved the most was the one I did with my boyfriend from my town to Albania in his car. We were travelling through the balcans and learning a lot of the different cultures and religions that live in there. It tooks us one and a half month of improvisation. I'm sure there will be more travels like this!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make an Spanish recipe with you and teach you how to do it. We have very unexpensive, variated and healthy gastronomy!

I can also give you psychological advice or teach progressive relaxation techniques. If you have children, I can give you advice for their education, study habits, learning difficulties,...

I can teach you some movements of differents styles of dance (salsa, classical, jazz, modern,...) and we can practice with good music!

Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, England, France, Georgia, Italy, Kosovo, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey
