Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Luckily, Chelyabinsk has become more attractive for foreigners.And I try not to lose a chance to communicate with them.

One acquaintance of mine had a nice experience in couchsurfing. A fellow from France texted him and asked for a "couch". So, we had a nice time and showed him some places of the city, let alone some peculiarities of the so-called "Russian soul"))
With the help of couchsurfing I found myself in Moscow and had a really great time in winter. Unfortunately, the weather turned out to be extremely cold but due to some nice people's care I managed to bear it!)

And some other BLA-BLA-BLA stories.)
In fact, CS unites people from different parts of our mad-mad-world and helps us to understand each other better. Have you anything father to say? I'll be all ears then.

Interests

I'm interested in all kinds of art. I had two personal exhibitions (graphic arts) here in Che, and I don't feel like putting an end to this kind of self-expression.) I'm also fond of travelling. And without any qualms, the greatest interest in my life is people, their behaviour and culture)

Movies: In the Mood For Love, Persona, Tarkovsky's films, Veronica's Double Life, all sorts of short films, Жить, Samsara, Обыкновенное чудо, Kin dza dza, The Best Offer.

Music: Rock, folk and a good piece of jazz, for sure +)

Books: Nabokov, Brodsky, Chechov, Kerouak, Walt Whitman, Kastaneda, Lavkrafts, Kafka, Japanese, English, American and Russian poetry.

Teach, Learn, Share

The thing is that I work at school and teach children of different ages English. And if we meet, I may show you the reality of our Russian educational institutions and give you a chance to talk to them, to share your experience of CS and travelling. I always want to inspire my students and to broaden their mind.
And I may also teach you Russian, hah.)
