I believe that nothing helps you to understand this world better than the ability to listen to people living in it. Everybody has stories to share and that's amazing.

When it comes to travel, I mostly do it alone, so it helps me to meet new people, start new conversations and brings me to the right places).

Couchsurfing for me is not about free accommodation, it's all about people and cultures.
I'm quite involved since I believe it's a great idea to prove that people worldwide have a way more things in common than they tend to think most of the time.

Also, for me it's the best way to experience life in a different country, learn more about people, habits, and history.

I listen to music most of the time - when I work, when I travel , when I take shower. I have hundreds of bands in my playlist, it's random and too much to list here.

I'm neither movie- nor series-person, I watch appr. 5 films yearly and 1/2 season of some series, so that is definitely not the topic which I can handle for the small talk.

I read a lot - I spend 2 hours daily in public transport, so that's my time ;)
I like stories based on real life events, with realistic characters. I read a lot of classics, and I like books on management, HR and other topics connected with my work.
