I am a solo traveler with a heart ❤️

I am originally from the Philippines, but I am here in Europe for my studies. During vacation, I used to book flights and travel with friends or alone. But now that I choose to travel with myself, I believe it would be a perfect time to meet new friends, learn their cultures, languages, and new stories, and be more open-minded about the world.

I used to climb mountains when I was in my country because I enjoy being surrounded by nature. Here in Europe, I am enjoying it a lot due to several choices from cities, to rural greenery to museums and historical places. I really love it.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am here to meet new friends and talk with them. 🤗😊 It is very simple, but exchanging words with locals is like a book with endless pages. It provides more and deeper information than what internet could give.

Solo traveling is fun and I feel independent, but at the end of the day, I feel happy with a buddy to walk around the city and laugh at the smallest things under the sun and streetlights.

I joined Couchsurfing because I find it the best platform to gain friends who are concerned about travellers, and understand the struggle of going to a new city. I found it a safe online environment for me, and a platform where I would not be judged for traveling alone.

兴趣

I like traveling and feeling free. I am interested of new medical innovations, astronomy, and these days I am also indulge into international politics.

In traveling, I am interested to try pastries, beers, coffee, tea, and truly everything. I like to know histories behind something. I like photography, so if you know aesthetic hidden places, I will be very glad to see that.

My favorite movies are from the Ghibli studios of Japan and historical romance. I like series such as The Bridgerton, as my favorite one, but I am also into Korean dramas.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I travelled in another country alone last 2022. It was the time when COVID-19 was still a big deal in my country. We used to have quarantine, health-related measures, and strict requirements, but when I went to Europe, everything was very different. I was amazed by how other countries handled such a pandemic when compared to mine, and I had new learnings about it.

From then, I learned to book for myself, travel from one city to another, and have been in my dream country (Switzerland). Now, I have many favourite places I didn't know before.

Now, I am living in a building of international students in Greece, but in the next few months when I move to another country, I will see if I could host.

To the potential host of mine, who will trust me, and willing to understand my situation, I will try my best to be a good company, photographer, storyteller, and most importantly, a friend from the different side of this world.
