About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be happy every day! Remembering that time is the one thing we can never get back, and that each day offers opportunities to learn and enjoy.
ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Antonia, born and raised in a small town in Patagonia, Argentina, called El Bolsón, nestled in the Andes Mountains. Nature has always been a natural and essential part of my life, thanks to both my surroundings and my family’s teachings. I believe that the most valuable assets in life are the people we love—those who hold a place in your heart no matter the time or distance.
I consider myself a simple person. I value moments where I can fully enjoy life with my senses—whether it’s savoring a good meal, listening to the sound of the sea while watching a sunset, smelling freshly cut grass, or petting a furry little animal.
I like to keep spaces clean and organized. I wake up with the sunrise and usually go to bed shortly after sunset. I’m a vegetarian and gluten-free, and while at home, I dedicate time to preparing my meals, which is something I truly enjoy.
I’m calm and flexible, able to adapt to different contexts and situations. I find changes challenging and the unknown exciting. Learning something new and knowing that my work is useful gives me a sense of fulfillment. Sincerity is one of my greatest strengths, though I also recognize it as a potential flaw at times. I’m incredibly responsible, methodical, and thorough in what I do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love connecting with people from different cultures, sharing stories, and learning from each other’s experiences. Couchsurfing offers a unique way to step into someone’s life and community, and it challenges me to live outside my usual comfort zones—something I cherish deeply.
I trust that the right people come into our lives at the right moment!
Interests
Nature, simple living, fermentation (especially kombucha!), traveling, learning new cultures, spending time with those I love, and living with a sense of purpose and curiosity.
Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to books, reading is a big part of my life. Whenever I need to center myself, I return to The Little Prince. At home, I love reading about other cultures or novels that take me on a journey to different places.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently, I’ve spent several weeks as a volunteer in a kombucha factory in Bangalore, India, which opened my mind to a new world of fermentation, cultural exchange, and sustainable living.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to brew kombucha, or share the wisdom I’ve gained from living close to nature. I’m always open to learning new things, whether it’s a new recipe, a skill, or a story from your life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I offer great company, meaningful conversations, and, if you’re interested, I’d be happy to teach you about kombucha brewing or share some insights from my time in Patagonia. I deeply respect your privacy and personal spaces.
