Since October 2017 I live in the Netherlands with my lovely husband Michal. Recently we quit our jobs and traveled around for a while. Now we are back to beautiful Leiden and full of new ideas for life and energy to meet new people :)

I like traveling, discovering people and places, talking about everything. What I am today depends on my mood and on the person I spend time with. One day I can talk about politics, economy and the sense of life. Another day I go partying and dancing till the morning.

Before CS asked members about "Current mission", so, mine is to enjoy life, meet amazing people and to learn Dutch (if you could help me with it, I would be more than grateful).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2016 one friend of mine and I bought one-way ticket to Amsterdam and later made a trip through Europe, tried CS for the first time and fell in love with this idea.

This is not about "cheap traveling", this is about "real traveling", learning more about people, countries and cultures. Some would say: "book a luxurious hotel, try national dishes, go to the most famous museum and be happy", but as for me, they know nothing about happiness.

Interests

Hiking, camping, meditation, self-development, traveling, squash, trying something new, foreign languages and being positive.

Music, Movies, and Books

All what I listen to, watch or read depends on the particular moment and my current mood.

Music: Since I moved to the NL I lost my access to the playlist I used to listed to in Russia. At the moment anything will be fine :)

Movies: Whiplash, The theory of everything, Knocking on heavens door, The Green Mile, Inside I'm dancing, Requiem for a Dream, Das Leben der Anderen, The Prestige and some series.

Books: it should be something meaningful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fallen in love and got married thanks to CS.
Completed 3 weeks silent meditation in Thailand.
Quit my job to travel and explore new things.
