I've hosted many people in Lisbon, my hometown. I'm quite much into Fado, our Portuguese traditional music genre. I've taken almost all my guests to Fado bars. (So couchsurfers, if you are interested on such thing, I might be a good help!)

I’m an amateur musician, playing portuguese and spanish/classical guitar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When visiting a new place, the local people which we interact with have a big impact on the impression that we keep from that place. There might be tons of monuments whatsoever, but if we did not keep a good feeling about the people we talk to, even if it is about simple things such as asking directions, then maybe we don't feel like going back to that place. Because, above all, people and their culture is one of the most important things that characterizes a place and makes us feeling well there.

I've hosted more than 30 couchsurfers in total, only good experiences :D The people ranged from USA, Austria, Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Russia, Czech Republic, China (and Macau), Finland, Argentina, France, Switzerland, Canada, Hungary, New Zealand, Bulgaria, Brazil, and Serbia.
