Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting with people living in the city I am visiting to show me around, to see the best out of it from the local point of view, to share experiences from living in different countries, share some international meals, travel stories and have fun :)

Interests

I love reading while I'm on train, bus, plane heading to my next destination. Most of the time I read the dictionary on the way abroad - I would love to speak as many languages as possible just to be able to communicate with people from around the world in their own language cause I feel like it is always much more interesting and you can get to know people much better. I speak 4 languages fluently at the moment and learning 2 more. I love walking – not sure if it counts as a sport but to be honest your feet can hurt much more after whole day walking around new city you’re visiting than after an hour of fitness class :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I visited 30 countries before turning 30yo as I always wanted. I upgrated it to 40 before 30 so let's see about that goal. And finding my dream job despite the fact most of the people I know told me I won't make it :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am more than happy to teach people my language - Slovak which is similar to Czech, Polish or Russian - Nazdravie! - so in case you plan visiting that part of the world, you won't be lost :) I'll always "surprise" you with good Belgian chocolate or waffle, just let me know what kind do you prefer :)
