Hi there! I'm Eugenia and I've been travelling round Europe for a year! Now based in Barcelona for who knows how long! working as a waitress in a coffee house and enjoying this amazing city.

I'm sharing flat with 3 roomies and a dog, so all the requests for hosting surfers are previously discussed with this family, to organize the space and our routines.

About me... Since I was a little kid I knew I wanted to travel, I pictured me working in Animal Planet visiting many countries and places. Then, I grew up and ended up being a designer and loving art. Since then I've always dreamt of travelling around Europe and getting to know all the places I've been studying these years. Their cultures, people, traditions, architecture, and everything about them, from the inside. Get to know the secrets and the heart of every place. I'm really looking forward to meet people and make new friends. So, I've quit my job and I'm really nervous and ecstatic at the same time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the most valuable thing we can get from life is the memories we make and the experiences we collect. I joined the community because I want to share my time, meet new amazing people and make friends! I want to know the places by the hand of locals, and get involved in their culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 I travelled to "El Calafate" in Santa Cruz, Argentina, home of glaciers. I trekked on Viedma Glacier and kayaked on the Upsala Glacier watercourse.

But my dream is to see the northern lights in the Scandinavian countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make good "mates". Some argentine cooking recipes and some spanish ones learnt from my granny. We can play traditional argentine card games and share some spanish words and phrases too.

I can also show you how to make rubber stamps, to use them in paintings or personal needs, and some illustration techniques so you can meet the artist inside you .

Always open to share and learn new things from other cultures, recipes, languages, games and stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experiences, cooking recipes, illustration techniques, spanish words and phrases, photos, but most of all great moments with laughter guaranteed. Also give the hosts some help in anything they need.
