ABOUT ME Hi everyone, my name is Maria, I'm 35. When I first learnt about CS, I was 19, lived with my parents in Praga-Polnoc, "Brooklyn" of Warsaw, and I'd just started my studies. Since then many things have changed. I have two master degrees now. I live alone in the green suburbs of Warsaw and I work as a flight attendant!👩‍✈️ But no matter what I do or where I live, one thing will never change. I love travelling more than anything and I'm bound to discover more and more places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first joined the CS bcs I was a poor student:) Now I can easily afford a B&B and thanks to my work I’m able to visit hotels all over the world! Nevertheless, I still love the idea of seeing how people live in foreign countries. And there's no better source of information. I enjoy hosting people (when I can) and participating in events organised by the local CS community in Warsaw.

Interests

I can’t live without physical activities, especially outdoors ones or fitness, Zumba and bachata. I’m a keen mountain trekker.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent over 90 hours on Indian trains. I went to a beauty parlour in New Delhi. I hitchhiked in the French Riviera and in Algarve in Porugal. I did canyoning in Madeira. I ate fish on the Kyzyl Kum Desert (fish on the desert? yeah!) I have visited over 50 countries so far.
And, oh yeah, I can fly a small plane! 🛩️
