About Me

I enjoy the outdoors and nearly every kind of cuisine. I'm pretty passionate about culinary arts, actually. There are few things I appreciate more than a nutritious and delicious meal.

I typically travel with a loose outline dotted by a few definite plans but discover local events and hidden spots along the way. I try to steer clear of tourist traps and live as locals live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing facilitates memorable experiences. I'm glad to help others enjoy their time in my hometown, and it's much appreciated when folks do the same for me, even if it's just a roof over my head and a restaurant recommendation. I've met a couple really neat people through Couchsurfing who I likely would have never encountered otherwise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bought my first motorcycle in Kansas City and rode it home to Saint Louis. That's how I learned to ride a motorcycle. In hindsight, it's remarkable I didn't crash.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you anything you want to know about rugby. I like recommending books. I can spin fire poi and teach you the basics. I can also share some strategies for arm wrestling.
