About Me

Hey there awesome reader and maybe hopefully soon-to-be guest or host!
(Unfortunately guests would have to consider themselves soonISH-to-be, since a place of my own is a luxury a poor student like myself can only dream of)

Speaking of being a poor student, currently I'm dwelling in the beautiful German capital that is Berlin and I'm studying to be a foreign language correspondent.

Other than traveling (duh!) and Netflix I like to read (Harry Potter for the 78th time), to exercise and do yoga. I love going to concerts and playing board games with my parents (as any normal 23 year old would).

I've couchsurfed several times and I absolutely loved the experience, the good time with wine and the lovely hosts.

In spring 2017 my friend Joe and I roadtripped the US together and if you, dear reader, would like to see more references, I'd suggest his page, since his references concern both of us as guests (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/joe-rosa-1).

Hey now you've come this far!
If you still have questions, feel free to ask.

Would love to hear from you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a different kind of travelling. A better kind. It is not just sitting in some hotel room, doing all the obligatory sightseeing but being able to see the world through an unfiltered and local point of view. Even if I had the money for expensive rooms, I'd choose Couchsurfing over that any day.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I'm that annoying person who likes every kind of music. I'm sorry. I'm just fond of it in general and I like every song that reflects my current mood. But if you MUST know, here's a snippet: I love running into mosh pits at metal concerts and crying to soft acoustic guitar melodies equally.

MOVIES
Same thing goes for movies. Genre depends on my mood. Some of my favorites are: The Invisible Guest, anything Miyazaki, anything Tarantino.
Also, I'm a TV-show junkie.

BOOKS
I'm really into Harry Potter, the Narnia Chronicles, Hunger Games, etc. BUT also a huge fan of classics. I'm currently reading Moby Dick (I can safely leave this entry for 4 months and that statement will still be true).
