ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from university (where I studied English and Russian literature) and now, I live in Wroclaw, Poland teaching English. While I am living in Europe, I would like to take the opportunity to travel to different places and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to be able to visit many locations in Western Europe (Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, UK, and Italy in particular).

Interests

Russian and English Literature (Chekhov and Dostoevsky), biographies of famous mathematicians and scientists, writing, horseback riding, chess, languages, translation, coffee, and photography.

Books: anything/everything by Anton Chekhov, Godel Escher Bach, most Shakespeare (excepting the drudgery that is Coriolanius), Wallace Stevens, Pablo Neruda, Jorge Louis Borges, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Crime and Punishment, Sherlock Holmes, epic fantasy trilogies, and an array of others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Before this year, the only country, other than the US, that I had been to was Russia. I studied in Moscow during 2011 and grew to really love the place. That's not really amazing but it is the best travel experience I have had thus far.
