ABOUT ME

My name's Mariah. I'm a 23 year old, recent college graduate who is about to start exploring the U.S. I moved out to California about 2 and a half years ago for school and earned my Bachelors this past May. I am huge on outdoor adventures, I love music and meeting new people, and I'm pretty laid back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd really like to meet people in my area or meet up while I'm traveling with those who share similar interests. It's really cool getting to know people.

Interests

I enjoy spending time outside: hiking, exploring, rock climbing. I'd do anything to spend time in the sun. I love reading and anything to do with music. I'm always looking for ways to learn a new language because I find foreign words interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's hard to pick a favorite for anything because I read so frequently and love most books I get a hold of. I can vibe with almost any type of music but I do prefer classical, jazz, and soul/r&b. Almost any movie made in the 80's works for me. I'm not picky; even if I don't like it, I can appreciate when it's good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the end of 2014 I took my first cross country road trip from California back home to New York. It was pretty awesome to see some of the world's wonders and pretty surprising the amount of stuff you can fit into a car.
