About Me

I'm an EFL teacher and I am currently teaching Spanish at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville thanks to the Fulbright scholarship. I love showing others my culture, I'm just a big fan of Argentina ♥

I am also a volunteer for AFS Intercultural Programs, an NGO about international exchanges. Showing others how to drink mate is a big hobby of mine! I'm very open minded and friendly. I consider myself a positive person, always looking for the silver linings in life.

I'm a big foodie. I love cooking and going out for a beer or a cup of wine (only white, though). I'm definitely a tea person, so always up for a cup of tea!

Also, fully vaccinated!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that travelling is more than just visitng places and landmarks, I also want to get to know the cultures from within, which is why I want to do couchsurfing.

Interests

My biggest passion is literature. I'm always with my book or kindle in my bag, trying to read everywhere and every minute left I have! You'll always see me carrying my books with me!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite films: many!! But I'd say Titanic, About Time, Pride and Prejudice (2005), all the Harry Potter movies (and books of course!) and some classic rom-coms!

About literature, I can't decide right now, I just have many favorites: Persepolis, To Kill a Mockingbird, Harry Potter series, Normal People, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled a lot for different purposes, but the best trip I've ever taken was to Thailand for an immersive cultural workshop, where we got to know Thai culture from within to then help exchange students who went abroad to Argentina to have a better experience. Helping exchange students live their experience in my community is one of my biggest passions!

Teach, Learn, Share

Being a teacher is my calling and I love teaching others anything that I can, things about my culture, my language or cooking recipes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my culture, which I'm a big fan of, through movies, music, and cooking! I love cooking for my friends and would be happy to cook some Argentine recipes for my hosts :)
