About Me

I'm a college student of finance. I practiced ballet for 15 years of my life and I have also practiced in line skating, swimming, football and pole dance. I'm a very social person and I love talking and sharing thoughts about life. I love to dance and to sing (though I don't sing that nice). I love my dog, my friends and my family. I love music and arts in general, and most of all I love being able to know new places. I love the sensation of realizing that my common life is not the only way of living that exists. I have traveled to Alaska, a lot of places in California (United States), Montraeal, Quebec and Toronto in Canada, some parts of Texas, and a more that half of Mexico.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I'd love to meet people form cultures all around the world. I think it is awesome to be able to share different traditions and opinions to enrich your soul while you visit the world (and save some money). My friend introduced me to couchsurfing and it seemed a wonderful idea to me. I will be studying a semester at Europe and I'm looking forward to explore and learn as much as I can about its countries. I'm also trying to save some money in order to be able to visit more places. I would also like to practice my english and most of all my french (which I haven't perfected yet).

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy almost any genre of music (I prefer calmed ones such as indie), except the ones that might be too loud like heavy metal. My favorite artist is Taylor Swift which I listen since I was 13, but my favorite song would be Vienna from Billy Joel at the moment. My favorite movie is definitely Titanic but I love watching horror and comedy movies. I love reading latinamerican novels from authors such as Gabriel García Márquez or Mario Vargas Llosa (who is my favorite author), and I also like Dostoievski. My favourite book is "Marianela" by Benito Pérez Galdos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have visited so many wonderful places around Mexico, United States and Canada. The ones I have loved the most are in Mexico because there are so many insane and exceptional things that you can experience (like swimming with whales or visit virgin beaches in Tulum). Alaska also seemed a unique experience to me because I barely knew snow, and I tried the dog sled thing. But definitely the one that was the best of all is Death Valley in California because you travel hours and hours be car and there is not a soul or someone around, if you get lost or your car fails you're probably going to die if you don't find a ride. I love natural experiences which remind me of how small I am compared to the universe and its perfection.

Teach, Learn, Share

You can always practice some english or spanish with me and have a good conversation. I can share the most representative traditions and facts about Mexico, and also show some wonderful mexican music which I definitely love.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can always talk about Mexico and share my experience living here for twenty years. I love having conversations sharing my culture with other people. I can also help with any shores in house during my stay. As well, I can share all my good experiences throughout life in order to get some good vibes.
