Hello! I'm Maria, a language enthusiast from Finland. I am currently planning a trip through Norway with my partner Nik from mid July till early August. Last time I used Couchsurfing was back in 2015-2016 while on a student exchange in Hong Kong. So excited to be back! Me and Nik are looking for places to stay in Norway, but also cool people to meet up, have adventures and share stories with :)

I have had amazing experiences hosting and being hosted, and I've met super nice people through this website. I'm always interested in getting to know other travelers and learn new things!

Languages interest me the most. I would love to speak all the languages in the world (haha), but since I know how impossible that is, I'm just learning some of them :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did my student exchange in 2015-2016 in Hong Kong, and traveled in Asia A LOT during that time. One memory I always go back to is spending one month in Nepal and participating in a school building project.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of travel stories! I can also help you out with learning languages. Me and Nik can also cook you some Finnish-Persian fusion dishes :)
