About Me

----As I'm currently living in Halls at uni I sadly cant host anyone-----

I'm a Politics and International Relations student at the University of Bristol. I left Amsterdam, the city where I'd been living my whole life, about two years ago. I spent the first year away from home traveling through Israel, Australia, Thailand and Vietnam. This is when I couchsurfed for the first time, something I did not regret for a second. I also spent three month in Italy learning Italian (and drinking wine and eating Pizza).

I regularly come back to Amsterdam where my parents still live. In Bristol, where I have been for almost a year now, I play for the second volleybal team, was involved with the drama&playwright society as a stagemanager for their annual three-day theater festival and I'm part of all kinds of societies and committees. I love trying out new things!

I absolutely love both Amsterdam and Bristol as it makes for great places to take pictures and is great for socializing and going out.

Other things I love: cooking, hiking, being on boats, trying to be creative and sitting in my friends' kitchens and talking with them for hours.

Oh and when people ask me whether I will be president of the world (because I study politics, I'm not joking when I say people have asked me this many times), I generally say yes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having my trip to Vietnam paid for by the government of Amsterdam to chair my first Model United Nations conference and have dinner with the Dutch ambassador and finish off by seeing stunning Ha long Bay, was pretty awsome.

But also skydiving (something I didn't think I would ever do) in Byron Bay was amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I tend to say I'm interessted in everything, so anything you're passionate about I would love to learn! I quite enjoy listening to conversations I don't really follow. Very indepth conversations on pokemon and physics (not things I have much knowledge of whatsoever) for example, or a lecture on ancient Greek even though I stopped learning that four years ago & was extremely bad at it....

I can teach you some Dutch, how to play the piano or how to make some of my favorite dishes

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hosting me will always result in at least one nice dinner! :)

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, Netherlands, United Kingdom
