ABOUT ME

I love my home town, Helsinki. That's why I want that the people coming here have a great experience and that they see and live the best and most beautiful things in this city. As I've had a chance to travel quite much, I know the best way to learn is to get around with the locals - they usually know to show the best places and they've got interesting stories to tell. That is why I am here, hoping to get to know people from all aound the world and to either meet them here in Finland or getting help when I'm travelling.

I love to learn and try new things and to have good conversations on any subject. I go to gigs and concerts, as music is my passion. I play guitar as well, but mostly I sing. Anywhere!
I'm a hard-working person and down to earth, but there's nothing better than having a good time with great people and to forget about work and responsibilities. When I travel I don't make specific plans, it's good to do and see things based on the preferences at the moment. And staying with a local in a new city must be the best way to explore places I wouldn't know about if I stayed by myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did a little interrail on July 2013, and since that I've been travelling a lot with a help of CS. I think the cheapest and the most fun way to get to know the places is by staying with a person who knows well the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Europe since July 2013, and on my travels I've hung out with the locals. In Finland I've shown my home towns to others.

Interests

Concentrating on things that make me happy: music, yoga, running, languages (especially French language and culture), exploring new cities..
And of course reminding my friends and loved ones daily about how much they mean to me!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I watch movies of all genres, have to admit though that action (such as Die Hard or race movies) are my thing.

Music: I appreciate rock music more than anything, especially classic rock, old school stuff. To mention a few, AC/DC, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, Hanoi Rocks and Bon Jovi are important for me. Then of course Black Sabbath, Avenged Sevenfold, Mano Negra, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Ramones,
I listen to many kind of things though, and French music is near to my heart as well. Serge Gainsbourg, Noir Désir, Louis Attaque, Alain Bashung...

Books: There hasn't been much time to read books during the past few years, but I like to read about real people or phenomena.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Performing on stage to many many people, running a long distance, having had many occasions to meet and greet the people that are important for me and have affected my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

When it comes to learning, I'm happy as long as I'm having a good time in an area I don't know. It's the question about stepping outside of the comfort zone.

Teaching and sharing is exchanging the points of view and opinions with others. I like to learn anything interesting I'm offered to learn, and hopefully people I meet won't have to regret their time with me!
