Hi people, my name is Maria
I really think that describe myself it’s a hard job. So I’m going to share what I love the most at the moment.
I really enjoy reading. I usually have my shelve full with books I haven’t read yet, and I love the feeling that I always have books waiting for me. Generally I read two books at the same time, one to have my brain out of the earth and the other to have my feet on the ground (in catalan we have a saying: "s’ha de tocar de peus a terra" which means that you have to be realistic). My books now are The Pillars of the Earth and God emperor of Dune.
My other hobby is listening to music. Since I was a kid I remember that I always had some device to listen to. My favourite was a CD walkman from my father and I found it the best device ever, even I’m a Z generation :’)
I love the algorithm when I choose one song or album and it made a list with full of similar songs and I discover a thousand of new artists!
On the other hand, I spend a lot of time watching films and series. My favourite ones are "12 Angry" mans and "The Arrival".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because a friend of mine told me this is the best way to meet new open-minded people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling by hitchhiking with my friend through Iceland. The best hitchhiking one was a trucker, they take us to the Airport with a huge truck! It was so cool :’)

I can teach Spanish, Catalan and a little bit of sign language in Catalan.

I really enjoy listening to what people are passionate about. For example I don’t have interest in video games, but if you explain me why do you love them and the new updates I will pay all my attention.
