Overview
About Me
Researching artificial intelligence. Essentially, trying to get computers to the stage where they can learn like children do. From then on its out of our hands ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Science and philosophy are probably biggest parts of my life. I strive to be well rounded: going to festivals, enjoying sports and arts (consumption only). But I'm probably still a bit on the nerdy side :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Music to dance: electronic, more specifically psychedelic trance, DnB, but I'm flexible :D
To listen at home: movies and games soundtracks
Movies: whatever is self-aware and over the top. Lots of horrors happen to fall in this category: Scream, Cabin in the Woods, Piranha 3DD. Non-horrors: like Machete or Sin City are cool too. Other than that, I like to reason from the perspective of the characters. What would I do in their situation? Works quite well with movies about catastrophes, eg The Day After Tomorrow. My recent favourite movie is probably Mother!
Books: mostly non-fiction, Feynman on physics, Dawkins on evolution, Pinker on psychology, Hanson on kinda weird economics + psychology. I have a small library at home :D If you're sciencey type, we definitely won't run out of topics. I like certain strands of philosophy, but don't have a favourite author.
