About Me
I'm a Master's student (health informatics) living in Vienna. I love sports, beautiful landscapes and my girlfriend Angi :)
Off university, my passion is the team sport Ultimate Frisbee, which I play ambitiously. I even play for the Austrian National Team! When I'm not playing Ultimate, I am usually sleeping, eating or enjoying good company :) Sometimes, I'm working, too. I work at a machine learning startup in Vienna.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ate 3/4 of a raw onion in less than 1 minute!
Back in 2008, I noticed that the Guinness world record for eating a raw onion was 1:20min. Couldn't be so hard to beat, could it? I got my onion, put my swimming goggles on and started my stop watch. You know... I've always liked to eat onions raw, it was kind of my thing. So, all went surprisingly well until half the onion was gone. No 30 seconds had passed, I was on track! However, it should turn out that after half an onion, your desire for raw onion is really kinda met and your body does not want you to eat any more. On the other hand, I was already half way through. I mobilised my reserves to chew and swallow some more, sweating like I've run a marathon. After 45 seconds and 3/4 of the onion, my stomach told me quite unambiguously that any more incoming onion would not stay there for long. Reluctantly, I surrendered...
Well, you guessed it...The Guinnes Book of World Records may never know my name. But hey, I probably had excellent iron levels in my blood for the next couple of weeks :)
