When I'm not working as a teacher I love being outdoors. Cycling, kayak, camping, hiking and do voluntary work at the badger foundation in my village. I live close to Nijmegen and Arnhem city (1,5 hours from Amsterdam). I like to go there for dinner, a drink or go to the film theater. I play the piano and I sing. I write songs and play for myself mainly. I am learning to play the guitar for a bit. I'm a vegetarian and I have a cat (he's not).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've travelled quite a lot, but last year I had less opportunities to go abroad. I think it's interesting to meet people from other countries so that's why I invite people to come over and stay with me instead.

I worked as a volunteer in an animal refugee centre in Ecuador for a short time.
