About Me
For my introduction, I’m almost compelled to reinstate my name like, Hi, I’m Mariana... but you already knew that haha. I guess you could say my humor is kinda bad but I laugh at almost anything so there’s that.
I used to live in Albuquerque, NM (any breaking bad fans?) I just moved to NY in September. I am the type of person that will dive right into the water, regardless if it looks absurd to anyone else. I’m all about the thrill and the adrenaline rush. The people in my home town said I was crazy for moving to NY, but I think they were crazy for staying. I love New York, I’m still getting acquainted but so far it feels like home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really would love a good and genuine friend during this transition.
Also while establishing myself to the big city, financially it helps SO much to stay with someone.

Fahrenheit 451 is my favorite book EVER!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved to New York all by myself and haven’t looked back since.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn about peoples background, I can’t express how happy I am to look at the world through others perspectives. I see beauty in EVERYONE and it’s so easy to notice 314159% of the time. I am fascinated with people haha I hope that’s not weird but it’s the truth. I also love learning about music, it’s a language. I started off playing the piano but my heart was always with the Cello.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have been learning culinary arts on YouTube (lol) but I put my heart into my cooking and I’d love to cook for you. I believe the foods you eat are SO important so after doing some research throughout this year, I have some really tasty and healthy recipes.
I can share intellectual conversations with you and also I can make sure your house is clean throughout my stay.
