I´m from Lisbon, Portugal and I´m currently an exchange student in Italy doing the anual program. I love adventure, try new things and meet new people. I do volleyball and I used to do gymnastics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling but more than that I really enjoy meeting people from different countries, that have a different culture and maybe a different was of thinking than me. I love to tell about my country and all the places I have been!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 16 I went to New York City alone to an International school in the summer, where I met so many amazing people. One of them is my Turkish best friend. 9 months after i when to Istambul, where she lives to met here, it was amazing. It was after that that I was sure I wanted to be an exchange student so November 2015 I applied to AFS.

Teach, Learn, Share

Being an exchange student means that you leave everything you know and everything you have always lived with with you are 17 years old. This have been, no doubts, the craziest adventure of my live. I have been here for 8 months now and I don´t regret it for a second. It can be crazy but thats what makes it so great. Here I have met some of the best people I have ever met in my life and made a second family and its going to be incredible hard to leave this place but the year I spent here is going to stay with me forever. If I could I wouldn't choose to be anywhere else.

There are so many things I want to share and I´m so thankful that, although I´m only 18 I have lived so much! Can´t wait for one more adventure couch surfing!
