Overview
About Me
Hi! I am Mariana, a 27 year old brazilian journalist that decided to live an adventure abroad. Since October I am living in a small town here in Germany (it’s called Goslar and it’s very cute, I can only recommend it and if you need a tour guide, let me know) to learn German, to travel and hopefully make new friends and learn about new cultures.
Besides being passionate about languages and cultures, I am also a bookworm and I love going to museums and to the movies. At night, you can find me at the pub trying craft beers or at home bingewatching Netflix with a bottle of Pinot Noir.
I can also speak Portuguese and a little bit of German and Spanish.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The main reason I decided to join Couchsurfing is because traveling is way more fun when you have the company and the experience of the locals! This way, I can have great conversations even if I am traveling solo and I can go to places hidden from tourists - in my opinion, it is usually the best way to travel!
Unfortunately, since I live here in Germany with a host family, I am not available to host travelers.
