I'm very passionate about life and all the little things, but I always want to see and know more and that's what brought me here.
I think of myself as a very positive, relaxed and open-minded kind of person. I just want to enjoy life and do good for this beautiful world we live in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that couchsurfing is a great method for a traveller! I think that is allows me to experience new cultures from the inside, which makes it a lot more special than just creating a plan, visit the typical places and staying in a hotel. I want to travel without planning everything! And I want to learn new things, meet new people, share points of view and have fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot of books, so it’s hard to name some. I’m really passionate about Portuguese literature, so that’s what I read most. I’m always willing to discuss some Fernando Pessoa or José Saramago. Besides portuguese, I’m a big fan of Albert Camus, Sartre and Nietzsche, just to name a few.
I listen to all kinds of music. I don’t like to restrict myself to a specific kind of music. I spend a lot of my time just listening to music. I like music that makes me feel something and what I hear really depends on the situation. I can go from Paganini to Queen to Radiohead to Document One to Salvador Sobral to Tash Sultana to Janis Joplin to Mama Thornton... I could spend days showing you good music if you’re open minded enough.
Movies: Gaspar Noé, Kubrick, Tarantino, von Trier, Bertolucci... (Just to name a few)
I also watch a lot of documentaries, most of them about animals and nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Becoming a volunteer firefighter.
