ABOUT ME
****I'm in a very busy period of life, I'm sorry if I don't answer quickly enough to the couch requests, but if there's any chance, I'd be glad to host and show my city arround********
I could say I'm a nomad. While I don't have my own home and family (and I do not know if I'll have them some onde day) anywhere can be home. I love discovering possible homes and families all around... even if it's a one-night-home. I am not shy, but i'm usually quiet. I prefer listening than talking, but if the connection is nice, I can talk a lot too. I have a critical "eye" to the world... and I enjoy a lot exchanging ideas.
PHILOSOPHY
"Dance, dance. Otherwise we are lost." (Pina Bausch)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I first heard of CS i thought, as many people do, that it would be nice to save money. But after I really had CS experiences I understood that CS is NOT this. It is actually much better!!!
Trough CS we can meet open-minded and generous people, who are happy to meet other people, to share experiences and culture, to make friends.
Trust... CS is a nice way for us to remember that the world is actually full of really nice people, who are ready to help you, to open their houses, to care about someone they had never seen. I guess my parents generation was very pessimist about the world (they'd always think that initiatives like CS are dangerous and that people are usually looking for some advantage in such things). Well, I'm just so happy to see that my parents were wrong! This is great and no money can buy.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting and beeing hosted. I had a great experience with CS in Europe, and now I want to host and provide a good experience for other people too!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was hosted in Madrid, London, Strasbourg and Rome, they were all great experiences. I also met other travellers via CS and we could explore the city together. I couldn't receive people at my home in São Paulo yet (really busy these times, OMG!) , but I had the chance to show my city for some travelers, and it was also very nice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
People in Madrid are justo so lovely!!! One night in Madrid, after looking for hostels ans hotels for a whole afternoon, I just couldn't find a place to stay - the whole city was complete. So I went to a Tango ball (milonga) and I started talking with people there. I was very nervous and scared about the situation, but all these people were just so nice, they helped me, made me laugh- and in the end, some 4 different people invited me to sleep in their couchs. =) It's great to be reminded of how many good people we can meet in the world.
Other amazing things:
- visiting the caves of PETAR, in Brazil. Felling like if I was into nature's womb.
- camping in an island where cars are not welcome (Ilha Grande, Brazil)
- walking trhough the Black Forest in German
- entering Gaudi's Sagarada Familia church in Barcelona
- dancing tango in Buenos Aires
- riding a bike in Paris
- Meeting Mahatma Gandhi's grandson and listening to his stories about his grandparent
