Hello there! My name is Mariana and I'm a spontaneous 22 y/o traveler from Brazil.

Back home I was working on getting a bachelor degree on International Relations but recently decided to take some time off from that. I've worked on a school teaching English, being a hostess on international events at my city and even with the food and beverage industry for a while at Disney World in Florida. So yea, I absolutely have no idea what I actually want to do with my life haha besides traveling, of course ;)

On my free time, I like to hang out with friends, have a drink or two at a local bar, try local food, play tourist or take a book to the nearest beach. My close friends normally say that I have great energy and I'm very easygoing, which of course, I take that as a great compliment! I'm always open for adventures, meeting new people and for good conversations :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created this account on CS a long time ago but just really started to use it after my trip to Europe (June-August 2015). Meeting so many incredible people and being able to experience different cultures definitely made that trip unforgettable, and for that I will always be grateful :) Everyone that I met through this website (hosts and CS meetings) just proved how incredible hanging out with the right people can be for your soul!
