ABOUT ME
Hi there!
I'm a 29 year old editor born and raised here in Rio. As an authentic "carioca", I know my city very well and really enjoy showing the spots around. I'm always trying to find different places here (yes, there are places that even locals do not know).
I'd describe myself as a friendly, easy-going, sociable, open-minded and adventurous person. Also a jokester and love when I'm with someone who can make me laugh too. Not a big fan of partying like hell (the age has got here, sorry), I'd rather enjoy the day and do outdoor activities, such as going to the beach or waterfalls, going trekking, hiking, camping, visiting museums, hanging out with my friends to have a beer, having picnics and those kind of things. Oh, I love enjoying my place too! Having a pizza and watching to Netflix on my couch (really addicted to movies and tv series!) is always a nice option. As I said before, I love showing my city around but as I work during the week days, I'm only available to do so on the weekends.
Completely passionate about life, my greatest passion is travelling. I don't give a shit about buying stuff, I spend everything I have on travelling. I love meeting new people and being in places I've never been before, in contact with different cultures. People are so amazingly interesting and there's too much to learn and share, right? EXCHANGE is one of my favorite words! When I travel, I don't wanna go to those touristic places everyone goes, of course, sometimes I do but I'd rather be in totally distinct places and discover the city on my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I LOVE couchsurfing! I'd much rather stay with someone who knows the area I'm visiting than stay in a hotel and visit a bunch of touristic places. Well, I rarely stay in hotels anyway, always hostels and friends' places. That's because I want true stories and different perspectives, so there's no better way than couchsurfing.
Obviously, I offer the same. I want to share MY Rio de Janeiro, my particular point of view, my culture, my habits, my stories.
Interests
Backpacking, nature, camping, outdoor sports, photography, making new friends, laughing, debating (even when I don't know what I'm talking about, what happens a lot), new experiences, exploring, adventuring, reading, sarcasm, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled solo for the first time about three years ago. I went overland to Bolivia because I wanted to stop city by city untill my main objective, which was Uyuni salt flats. It was an AMAZING experience, I've never felt such a freedom. I spent four days in the desert, no water, no shower (wet wipes only), missed bus, met people from all over the world, got drunk, played cards, lost money, slept in a bench in the middle of the border, made great friends and great stories. That trip really changed me a lot!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Portuguese.
I want to learn everything! HA!
I enjoy sharing my time with people of like-minded interests. I can share my culture, my stories and my life experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great conversation, laughs, kindness, memories, Brazilian culture and I can cook! :)
As long as a person is kind and well-intentioned, I'm happy to meet them.
I love to listen to other people and learn what they have to share.
