ABOUT ME
I am currently a performing arts student while I also have my own collective where I work as an artist and a producer. I look forward to combining my life experiences and studies in economics with the world of the arts, whether its by performance, installation, theatre, dance...(I see no borders between art forms). We live in a fucked up world and I see it as a mission to unravel the whys and hows of us getting here and what can (still) be done before some of us are evacuated to Mars while the others are left behind to slowly fade out in the slumbers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When living in East-Timor, having CSers and actual travellers to talk to was inspiring and helped me to see the country through different and fresh perspectives. I love to host and share the affection I have for the place I live in and am equally thrilled by the amazing people that have done the same to me along my trips and travels.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I began informally couchsurfing a long time ago, through friends of friends of friends who had other friends and so forth. It was always awesome! Most of the houses I have lived in were registered through my house mates, I always had fun fun fun hosting surfers and... Now I finally have my own account to further share the experience!
Interests
Besides my passion for travelling and creating opportunities to meet new people and learn more about them and the place they live in, i find myself lost and mesmerized by music (a compulsive researcher), books, drama, dance and performing arts, as well as figuring out the works of politics, history, anthropology, cultural studies, philosophy and all those authors who remind me that I´m not (yet) going berzerk.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to watch movies who make me finds some answers and ask even more questions, which may sound a bit pretensious but what I meand to say is that I avoid spending 2hours watching mind numbing interactions on a screen. When it comes to books I devour them as much as i can and go a lot for social fiction: why not play around with what we have? amongst others...Huxley, Orwell, Wells, K.Dick, K. Vonnegut... Music? Come what may, from Steve Reich to Tool, Sphongle, Bonobo, or Animal Collective. It´s an assumed passion :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Arriving in the city of Dili to feel the dirt roads fall upon me, only to realize they weren't really all made out of dirt, I had just gotten momentarily dumbstruck by the contrast between one world and the other. Oh, and crossing the Cyprus Turkey-Greece border. WoW.
