Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm a tiny (154cm) and fearless Brazilian, who like many out there, suffers from severe Wanderlust. I love travelling by myself in order to meet new people and make friends everywhere I go. There's not many places in the world that aren't on my to-go list, and I'm slowly making my way through them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling is part of who I am, and meeting new people and making friends is the best part of it for me. I believe Couchsurfing is a really good way to do both at the same time.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite books: 'm a good old Potterhead (proud Ravenclaw at that), with a penchant for loving Young Adult books. However, I make a point of not having favorites, because for me there are just too many that have moved me and changed me profoundly to choose from. Currently my favorite author out there is Maggie Stiefvater, if you don't know her yet, and like supernatural, sprinkled with awesome quirky humor, and amazing writing you should.

My favorite movies: I'll watch basically everything as long as it's not Horror or made to give people nightmares. I particularly love movies that make you think, as well as those Disney movies that make your heart melt.
My favorite music: I have some favorites such as: Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles, Jake Bugg, The Staves, Foster The People, The Kooks, Lucy Rose, BOY, Adele. I'll also happily listen to the Top 40 pop hits on stations. However, I'm learning Korean at the moment so I'm also going through a K-pop phase, which is basically all I've been hearing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, for certain I can say there was a pretty crazy one xD I did the Polar Bear Dip twice in February when I lived in Canada. For those of you who don't know, this means jumping into a whole cut into a frozen lake during the hight of winter. (for those who don't believe me, here's proof: https://youtu.be/2K0AbTU80Do )
Apart from that, I guess the coolest thing I've done is having travelled by myself to many different countries through the years, including my stints in Italy and Japan.
Teach, Learn, Share
I was an English teacher for a while a few years ago and still love to help out and give tips whenever I'm needed. I'm very passionate about languages and love to learn new ones, so if you're willing to teach me your language I'm going to try my very best to not totally embarrass myself attempting to pronounce it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a few travelling stories and tips to share, as well as my English and Portuguese knowledge. Besides, I absolutely love dogs and have been missing mine a lot since I've been away from home for 6 months now, so if my host happens to have a pet I will gladly share all the love I have with said furry friend.
