I'm Marianna, born in Russia and raised in Germany. I would describe myself as openminded and calm. There are many things I like to do, right now it is beachvolleyball, which is hard to mantain during my travel. My goal is to go from Germany to Japan by train and then stay in Japan for 1 year. I don't know what will come next but I trust my intuition.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is always better to get to know the place with people who actually live there than staying at an hostel. Also who knows what kind of friendships will arise and one day I can invite you to my place, when I have one.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like books about real life experiences and spiritual stories. Right now I am reading a book about the poetry of Rumi, a book called "сердце" (about the heart, teachings of buddhism and christianity) and a book called "songlines".

Well there are so many, but really following my heart and making this journey come true: going from Germany to Japan mainly by trains.

I would say I am good at listening and being present, I can offer tea and sweet treats. I can cook, but feel a bit out of place in a kitchen I don't know. It would be lovely to listen to eachothers music. Well tell me your most unpopular opinion.
