Hi I'm Mary. I love to travel on my holidays to have a contrast to my all-day life. On my journeys I try to simplify my lifestyle to a minimum. That means that I choose train, bike, walking by foot, sleeping in tents instead of traveling by aircraft or sleeping in hotels.
As well I'm an open-minded person, who practises buddhism. I accept different kinds of living and I am interested to get to know new people and mindsets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a host, couchsurfing gives me the option to invite the whole world in my house. Because I have four childreen, who moved out, I have lots of rooms which I don't really use. And of course I always love good company.
Couchsurfing is a good option for my traveling lifestyle: I can get in touch with the locals, live a simple life, improving my language skills, learn about other cultures and widening my horizon.
