About Me

Lets see, well I am a Psychology student at UMass Amherst, hoping to eventually get my PhD in clinical psychology. I want to work with kids who are dealing with trauma disorders like PTSD. I was born in Canada (and speak French fluently). I love music, particularly Radiohead, Boards of Canada, Sufjan Stevens, lots more I can't think of. I am a black belt in Taekwondo. I play piano, I love to draw, and I love to explore new places and meet new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There's a ton of places I'd like to go, but I don't want to always just go the tourist route. That can be fun sometimes to see spectacular things I've never seen before, but it also feels less like an authentic experience. I want to get to experience an area through the eyes of those who live, work, and play there, and couchsurf seems like a great way to interact with the places I visit on a deeper and more interesting level.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I became one of the youngest Taekwondo instructors in the state when I was 17! The grand master of our organization personally gave me a national achievement award for it. Really special day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Taekwondo moves if anyone is interested? I'm up for learning anything new or culturally important to the hosts or region that I am visiting. I love learning, and would be especially interested in trying to learn the language of wherever I visit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, music, movies, psychology stuff? I can teach French too!

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Turkey
