About Me
Hello Couchsurfing Community,
I was born in Scotland but grew up in England.
I have developed a love of languages, travelling, and learning about new cultures since my teenage years.
I'm full of curiosity, about the World and have a sense of adventure.
I teach English as a foreign language in a private school in the UK. This allows me to meet many nationalities and learn about their lives and beliefs, which I find fascinating.
I really enjoy dancing too and often do argentine tango or circle dancing.
I'm in my early fifties but still love to get away for a month or two a year from my usual job.
I'm as sociable as I am independent. I like to spend time with people but also enjoy time alone.
I look forward to meeting some of you
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have hosted and stayed with people; in the past I did a lot of Workaway type exchanges. People I have met travelling have stayed with me.
I am happy to help people with a bit of work around the house for my keep or cook the odd meal. As the host wishes.

Teach, Learn, Share
Sharing, teaching, and learning make us richer in a non-material way.
I work as a class teacher, but I learn just as much from the people I meet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach English, French and basic Russian. Share yoga and meditation.
Share meals and all it involves.
Dancing and singing are also to be shared.
Philosophical conversations.
