ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing and enjoy spending time with friends, new and old! I am one of eight siblings and have family and friends scattered all over the world. My very international background has made me open to and knowledgeable of diverse cultures and places. My life philosophy is to plan for the future but never forget that every day, this present moment is all I have and must be enjoyed to the full.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend introduced me to it a couple of years back when we were travelling through Spain and Morocco. I've had some wonderful CS times in France, Spain and Morocco and have often been amazed at the warmth and kindness of strangers.

Interests

Ancient buildings, historical sites,and culture interest me. Beautiful nature, beautiful people, and great food. I'm now finishing an MA in Multimedia Journalism at the University of Sussex...lets see where the next step in life takes me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran a little 'language cafe' for two months in Brighton. A weekly meet-up where people could find someone who speaks the language they want to learn and 'exchange languages'.

Slept out under the stars by a lake in Spain with a friend and a couchsurfing host,
Went on some stunning hikes, travelled lots, stayed in touch with long-term friends despite big distances.
