Laughing, learning, creating, dancing, music, road tripping, HAVING ADVENTURES, eating well, farming, friendship, animals, being outside doing anything, climbing, making beauty with my own hands - weaving, painting, drawing. Exploring the world with Fernace my sweet strange lil pup, she looks like Jim Hansen made her. We learn how to be every day.

Recently moved a potters wheel into my home and am enjoying learning how to throw.

Music, Movies, and Books

Wes Anderson, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Herman Hesse, to name a few.

Indie, alternative, rock, electronic, experimental, post rock, classical, old country, folk, blues, blue grass, in no particular order. The world of music is so vast I really dig a lot of it.

Cleverly written books are more important to me then story line I find, although it is nice to yadda yadda you know. I love 100 years of solitude and jitterbug perfume. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling, ie Iceland's geothermal wonders and winter water slides. Exploring Sicily with a good friend. Climbing in Crane Lake near Canada, boating to the different crags where the only trace of humans is rock cairns and the bolts on the wall. I also got to help bolt a route there and got the first assent! Climbing Castleton tower was radical, my first ever multi pitch. Randomly taking a job on a finishing boat in Alaska and spending a month out in the Prince William Sound. That's more then one, I know.

Teach, Learn, Share

For a novice- basics of rock climbing, my last occupation was rock climbing coach and instructor. Garden to cook holistically, I'm no expert, but cooking and eating a good meal is definitely something I'll share. I can also teach what I've learned about working with watercolors, it's a tricky medium that I feel I've got a good handle on.

I want to learn. I guess what ever you've got to teach, I'll give it a go! I love throwing myself into the unknown as that's the most interesting way I've found to learn. Haha :)
