About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Not yet discovered.

ABOUT ME

I'm a sarcastic and open-minded person. I love red beer, wool sweater, travelling and knitting when I need to relax.
However, I can seem a bit shy at first, no worries, I just need good music and an open-minded person who wants to share a conversation or a beer, or maybe both.

PHILOSOPHY

As my old friend Forrest would say, "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."

Interests

Travel, travel, travel! Music, books, movies, people, learning, laughing, good beer, international humanitarian law, ...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies of all kinds. Such as old French movies: the Count of Monte Cristo (with Gerard Depardieu obviously), all the Louis de Funes, Mission Cleopatra, La tour Montparnasse infernale, un Diner de Con. Also, American comedy, from Zoolander to Naked gun. I love Tarantino's movie, especially pulp fiction and Kill Bill 1.
I also watch a lot of TV shows, Breaking Bad, Weeds, New Girl, Friends, the Mentalist, Dexter.
As for books, it is very hard to say, but my classics would be the series of the three Musketeers, The Count of Monte Cristo, all the books of Henning Mankell, Azteca from Gary Jennings, la vie devant soi and les Cerfs-volants of Romain Gary, Notre Dame de Paris and the 42 books of Dragon Ball (of course).
Concerning music, I couldn't say something specific. However, it is an important part of my world. From Calle 13 to ACDC, les Cowboys Fringants to Coldplay, Louise Attaque to Mumford and Sons, Cat Empire to Mano Negra, Eminem to Bob Dylan, Fred Pellerin to Buena Vista Social Club, I could never travel without them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've met so many wonderful people. From my family in Ecuador to street guitar players in Mexico or owners of camping while I was doing cyclotourism.
I had the chance to travel a lot, and every time it's the people I met that makes it so beautiful. The landscapes were astonishing, but it's the people that makes it memorable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach french and would love to show some Quebec music.
I would like to learn how to play guitar, to be able to play my favorite songs around a campfire.
