Hi there! My name is Mariano and I am an Engineer who is taking a gap year from my career to travel and have amazing experiences. I have enjoyed traveling all my life. I have studied in foreign countries and made amazing friends over Europe and the United States. I like to travel slowly, to have the time to really grasp the culture and its history. I love to try new kinds of food, music and the arts. I like working out and having a healthy lifestyle. I am also a NERD so I love reading, technology, philosophy, and history.

I love to travel slow and immerse myself in the culture I am visiting. I do not like the "express" tourism many people do today. I prefer to take my time to know local people and share with them how they live, what they like about their culture and environment. Exchange anecdotes and experiences. Traveled all over Europe for over two years!
Hiked the Bardonecchia Mountains. Skied in three different countries. Backpacked over the Colombian coasts.
