Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Costa Rica, finished high school in Changshu, China at a United World College, had a great time with a bunch of people from different countries and learned some 中文 (took it as a subject but still very far from fluent)
Graduated in 2017 from the IB, now I'll study aerospace engineering at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
I'd describe myself as introverted but some would disagree. Also very sarcastic, and no one would disagree about that. I like a good conversation/discussion/argument/debate about anything even if it's controversial.
I might sound serious and like I only wanna discuss stuff but of course I also enjoy going out every once in a while and a good laugh. Very open to new stuff :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people (literally everyone here) and "experience a place like a local" as the app itself says lol.
Interests
Really interested in anything related to technology, science, and especially space exploration. enjoy talking about what the future could look like. In general, I love any good discussion.
Used to play guitar and very little piano. I don't really know that much about music anymore but I will gladly learn from others.
I also find politics very interesting but again I wouldn't say I know much more than the average person, still I like discussing and learning about it.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is a bit random, mostly because I'm too lazy to look for music.
Some of the mainstream stuff: Coldplay, OneRepublic, Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy, The Script
Some more alternative and indie stuff:
Oh Wonder, Valley, Seafret
Books - probably my favorite book is The Phantom Tollbooth, it's full of puns and it's great. I like fantasy stuff like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Lorien Legacies. Dystopic stuff like Hunger Games, Divergent, The Giver, The Roar, Maze Runner.
Others - Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast (book about belief from a science point of view), The Case for Mars. I've also read some "classics" like How to Kill a Mockingbird.
Also wanna read Isaac Asimov.
I don't watch movies that much, but I enjoy sci-fi and fantasy stuff mostly, like Star Wars or all the superheroes stuff (even though everyone kinda likes that now) but I also enjoy stuff like Interstellar or The Arrival.
Some of my favorite series are probably Please Like Me or Crashing.
What I do really like watching is (might sound weird) cartoons like Steven Universe, Adventure time, We Bare Bears, Rick and Morty. I just love their wittiness.
Video Games - RPGs, Kingdom Hearts, Witcher, Skyrim. Pokemon ofc, also Kerbal Space Program and some indie stuff like Flower or Journey. I also play Hearthstone.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Met a few astronauts (does that count?)
Went to a village called Ganhaizi in the mountains of Yunnan province in China to help them build houses, among other things.
Teach, Learn, Share
Not sure there's much I can "teach," but I promise I can have some interesting discussions, and also make you laugh if you enjoy sarcasm. I can try to teach some Spanish as well of course :)
