i am 22 years old and was born in Monteria, Cordoba, Colombia but i am a New Yorker at heart. i lived in New York for two years as an Au Pair so i got to experience life in a new way. I got to make friends from all over the world ans experience the city as a true new yorker. i am a very open minded person and love to meet new people. I enjoy long talks about life. i love reading and love music.

i think this is a great platform for people to interact with people that have the same interests than you and also a new way to explore the world. staying with locals mean you can definitely have a local experience in whatever city you are visiting, not the typical tourist kind of visit.

i enjoy listening to all kinds of music, i have playlists depending on my mood. but my favorites are classic rock, alternative, some r&b, latinamerican music in general because i love dancing to it.
favorite movies: the shawshank redemption, dead poets society.
favorite books: one hundred years of solitude, opio en las nubes, rayuela and i loved the selection series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

gone on a weekend road trip with a couple of german friends without destination, we ended up in washington DC and slept in the car one night and did couchsurfing the second night. it was awesome, one of the best weekends i've had.
I also got to drive the Staten Island ferry in New York!, one of the main tourist attractions since it gives you wonderful views of the statue of liberty and Manhattan, i lived on the island so the ferry was like second home for me and i am friends with the guys that work there so they let me be the captain for one night! that night i felt like i had accomplished a milestone in life.
