To get lost in adventure, wisdom, and self while taking the time to explore the world. Working always to improve ourselves so that we can allow our inner flame to burn bright and alight in the hearts of others.

Keeping a happy and healthy family back home on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia where we practice treading as lightly on the earth as possible, growing and foraging our own food, making our own medicines, and sharing with our community.

ABOUT ME

I have a big imagination and am powerlessly curious. I feel deeply called to work with the rhythms of the earth and hope to inspire other women to tune into and unlock their own wild.

I am a mother to a sweet and beautiful boy named Luca, who is constantly tearing open my heart and feeding me joy. My little girl is Nur Solay, who is filling my well full of happiness and trust. I am a wife to a kind, gentle, wise, and passionate man named Asaf whose solid presence keeps me grounded, and whose openness and trusting spirit brings happiness to all those around him.

I am passionate about our mother earth and helping women connect to their roots. I believe in my potential to help women through their childbearing years, through my work as a doula. I work with women throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period to help them regain their strength and to step into motherhood flourishing. I have attended enough births to be constantly amazed by the strength and wisdom inside a woman's body. I am also completing a 2-year herbal apprenticeship course where I am awaking that knowledge within my own being. Plants are of course my greatest teachers!

Asaf is a talented and knowledgable permaculture/biodynamic farmer. His passion is also in teaching, and he holds a diploma in therapeutical gardening that he once used to educate children on his food forrest in Israel. Back home we grow organic food and medicinal plants for ourselves and community, and live in a magical forest that we are always exploring. Asaf has his roots deep in nature connection and the wisdom of the 8 shields movement. He is also activating himself spiritually through his exploration of the Bahai faith.

Couchsurfing has allowed me to travel the world in ways I never thought possible. I have made life long friends and cherish deeply my time spent in sharing chapters of my life so closely with others. I feel its the best way to connect when we let our guards down and share our stories within each others homes.

It is really fun to bond so freely and openly with people who open their doors and hearts in our direction! I hope to always be apart of this community, and to share as much as I can.

My favourite author has always been Roald Dahl. He was a remarkable storyteller.

I love music that celebrates life in a conscious way and that has the power to heal and unite us together, opening our hearts and reminding us that we are love! Music is medicine to me .... My favourite artists right now are Peia, who identifies as an ancestral song keeper, Rising Appalachia, Danit, Mariana Root who are just beautiful.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Left everything I had ever know in my hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and begin a journey that led me literally around the circumference of the earth. In doing so I found my own inner voice and let myself be true and honest with that power. I fell in love with my beautiful husband Asaf in Israel, who came travelling with me. Along the way we birthed into this world our baby Luca who is a pure and brightly shinning star. That experience made me feel like a warrior! Since leaving all that time ago, I met many individuals who became my guiding light and teachers. I send my love and thanks to you all. I have since birthed another light into the world - our baby girl Nur who holds such trust and love in her being it is a joy to be in her presence.

I would love to share my knowledge as a mamma and doula! I enjoy cooking healthy vegan food that is decadent and flavourful. My favourite are cashew cheesecakes! I can also share my knowledge in gardening, natural medicine making, women's health, playing guitar and singing ...

Asaf would enjoy to share his experiences of travelling the world mostly by motorcycle or bicycle. He is an experienced permaculture and organic farmer who follows many biodynamic principles. He knows a lot about natural building, including rocket stoves, solar dehydrators, and all those fun projects!

Luca is a beautiful and joyous boy who is full of love and smiles! He can crack open your heart with one look into his pure deep oceanic eyes!

Nur is pure baby bliss!
