My name is Maria and I am from Moscow. I am currently doing my Master's in international law and human rights in the Netherlands and I love traveling around the world as well as discovering new places in Russia. Traveling is fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that meeting people from all over the world and getting to know them is one of the best opportunities that we have today. I try to travel as much as possible but Russia is kind of far from the rest of the world:) so traveling is not always cheap, that's why I think couchsurfing is a perfect combination of fun and cheap traveling!

I am also excited about seeing some interesting secret places that only locals are aware of:)

I am addicted to knitting and my friends usually make fun of it, but then they get used to it:)

Also every summer I come to Ireland as a group leader of Russian students who want to practice their English. It's been several years and I hope this tradition will continue in the years to come.

MUSIC: different! Love electronic music, blues and jazz are great as well. I also like songs sang in languages that I don't really understand, there is something intriguing about that:)
