Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned about CS through my sister and some corridor mates in Sweden. When I moved to Sweden I learned to travel alone which has given me a whole different perspective about myself and the places I have visited. In july 2015, I decided to travel to Istanbul because I was tired of my monotonous life in Sweden. I only spent 8 days there, but I had the pleasure to hang out with people I met in my Master Programme. They were locals and made me experience Istanbul in the most fun and healing way possible. Having said that, I think CS could give me that experience, to be in contact with locals in every place I go and try different food and music!

Music, Movies, and Books

I considered myself a 'music lover' . I listen to salsa, jazz, "world music", Colombian traditional music... Music in general... if it reflects passion and emotion. I enjoy watching documentaries about music, and reading novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I have the time and the means to host travellers at home, I try my best to make them feel welcome and comfortable in Colombia. I keep good memories of all the guests I have had and it is rewarding to know that despite cultural or language differences we can learn from each other's experiences.
