ABOUT ME

My name's Maria and i'm a 22 yo girl from Porto, Portugal. I've studied Animation at Soares dos Reis Art School and also Visual Arts at ESAP, both in Porto. I'm really passionate about art and so i want to make my life out of it! I do know it aint easy and i'll have to work a lot to get where i want to be in life, but we all gotta start somewhere so this is my start.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing so i could meet new people in every city I visit and to get some experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in movies is quite eclectic; it goes from sweet french to reality-like spanish, to the beautiful italian and of course portuguese cinema.

Im into indie folk, rap&hip-hop, jazz and pop music; as in with cinema, i'm pretty eclectic and i wont judge your music taste as everyone has the right to like whatever they want to.

I read a lot and about loads of things as reading is one of my favorite things to do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a few mountains in Portugal;
Slided down a 170m mountain
Moved to London when i was 19.
