Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to enjoy wherever I am to the fullest, learn lots of useful and even more useless things
ABOUT ME
I'm 28, living in Vienna and working for an internatinoal clean energy/climate change non-profit. I'm generally up for anything, especially things concerning trying exotic foods/outdoor sports/strange theme parties.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to be open to everything, learn as much as I can, not decide whether I am a nerd or more of a party animal overall but just be either when I feel like it. I try not to take my own occasional problems or myself in general too seriously, I honestly believe everything will be good in the end, and with those thoughts in the back of my head I am generally happy wherever I am.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted some people when I lived in Middelburg, the Netherlands. It was a lot of fun to show other people where I lived and find out what they were up to, generally I think couchsurfers are very interesting people:) I surfed only 3 times so far - and 2 of those in the same house. It was great to find out that after a few years of hosting people there were also other (interesting, funny etc) people willing to host me!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Good ones! For details, see above or look at my references:)
Interests
I like wild parties but I can also really appreciate a night in with movies and hot chocolate. I love spontaneous weirdness, not planning anything and just seeing where I end up, whether that is on a night out or a holiday. On the other hand, I also like reading up on everything I do beforehand.I like hiking and camping and catching fish for my dinner (never works, thank goodness for muesli bars), and I also like museums, cocktail parties and shoe shopping.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: everything from The Doors to David GuettaMovies: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Boat That Rocked, In Bruges. There are loads more that I like but just can't think of right now. I appreciate serious dramas with profound ideas behind them but I must admit that most of the time I'm just as happy watching a silly comedy. Also: all BBC documentaries with David Attenborough.Books: Everything. Currently reading: the Hunger Games, a book on Hungarian history (though that's more of a long term project), The Yiddish Policemen's Union, and a book about quantum mechanics for beginners.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak some languages that I could help you practice, and I can dance like a penguin. Or like penguins would dance if they did, anyway. I can bake cakes and clean squid, but other than that my cooking skills are quite limited so I'd love to learn some more of that! Otherwise, anyone who has any expertise they'd like to share in any field, whether it's beginner's quantum physics or old Italian cinema, I would love to learn:)
