Hello, I am a 26 year old Dutch girl, currently staying in Manacor as an au pair. Before that I graduated last september for my bachelors degree to become an art therapist. I wanted to experience living in a different country and as I already have some experience working with childeren, au pair seemed a logical next step.
Now I want to explore more of Spain.

I am originally from a small village in Holland, where I've lived almost my entire life.

I'm a creative person and like photography, drawing, painting and cooking.
I love to challenge myself, and like trying new things. There is a reason I've got a 1000 hobbies.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I've travelled before while couchsurfing and I love the way it shows you a side of the places you visit, that you would otherwise never get to see. When I am traveling I notice that sometimes the experiences I have are a bit lacking in dept. Locals can give a place a lot more life. When couchsurfing you're not just seeing a place, you're experiencing it.

Besides that, traveling alone can also become a bit lonely and I love meeting new people.

Interesses

I love to create stuff. I paint, draw and do photography. I also make bracelets and I love giving those away.

I love to explore new places, which are also nice to photograph and trying out new foods, both eating and cooking it. I like art, history, art-history, linguistics and weird facts.

I am a big fan of superhero-movies and tv-shows. I also love light-hearted murder mysteries and sci-fi.
I read mostly Terry Pratchett books.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Hmm, I don't really have one experience, that left me awestruck, I've had a lot of awesome moments in my life, but not something that was "most" amazing. Though something that makes me feel really blissfull is just sitting in a train, on my own, headphones on, some nice music and just the unknown landscapes drifting past.

I can teach some art techniques and am very good in explaining how to draw animals. I also love the experience of creating art together with other people.
