Hi my name is Maria :-)
I am from Germany and 19 years old. I graduated from high-school in June 2017 and started my Au Pair adventure right afterwards. Since I have been ten years old it has been my dream to become an Au Pair in the United States to gain the chance to explore a new country and its culture. Right from the beginning I loved living in a new country and seized every chance to travel around. After this gap-year I would like to go back to Germany and study International Business in Berlin.

The reason why I joined Couchsurfing is simple. Besides my love for traveling I really enjoy meeting new people and exploring other people's culture. Furthermore I like to learn new languages and practice them. This Au Pair year also gives me the chance to gain new experiences and discover the world. So I am looking forward to meet you!

I really enjoy listening to jazz music especially to New Orleans Jazz since I've been there recently. Furthermore I also like Soul and old 60ies Rock. Besides I love Swingdancing a lot! I started dancing back in Germany but got into a swing-group here in DC.
