Movies: too many to even begin listing. Much love for documentaries though, Alfonso Cuaron, Pedro Almodovar, Wes Anderson, Darren Arronofsky, Charley Kaufman, Coen Brothers and David Fincher movies and most things with Daniel Day Lewis.

Music: A Silver Mt. Zion, Boards of Canada, The Books, God Speed You Black Emperor, Kaki King, Andrew Bird, Hella, Death, Mastodon, Manu Chao, Jimi Hendrix, Thievery Coorporation, Amadou y Mariam, Ravi Shankar, Iron and Wine, but the best is what you make so pick up an instrument.
